Patients who require more than routine care, including intensive therapies and nursing care, can benefit from our 10-bed ICU or General Medical/Surgical Unit. These units treat individuals with one or more of the following conditions:
Designed for patients with impaired tissue integrity or those at high risk for complications who can benefit from the care provided by our interdisciplinary wound care team, our three-chamber Hyperbaric Oxygen Unit, outpatient wound care center, and our orthopedic, cardiovascular and plastic surgeons. Specialized care for patients with acute or chronic respiratory disorders who may have tracheostomies, ventilators or require extensive respiratory treatments to maintain normal breathing with or without mechanical support. The services we provide and the conditions we treat include:
Patients who may benefit from this program include those who are unable to withstand three hours of intensive therapy a day or who require too high a degree of nursing/respiratory care to be accepted at most skilled rehabilitation programs.
